Library
The Library of Maharaja Lakshman Sen Memorial College was also
established on the day institution came into existence. The Maharaja of Suket State
has handed over his library and buildings to the college. The library has
been extended further to increase the capacity of the reading room.
The Library which started in 1976 with an initial collection of 1966 books has
now grown up to a rich collection of 37638 books till session 2016-17 in arts, science,
commerce, education, physical education, computer science, management and general/reference
books.
We believe that the college library is a gateway to knowledge, and provides a basic condition
for lifelong learning, independent decision making and cultural development of
the students and the teachers. Focusing on the very important role of the library,
our college library has been growing steadily over the years.
