Scholarships


1. Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Charttarvriti Yojana

The scholarship is for meritorious students of the Scheduled Caste category and OBC declared as such in the result of the Matric Examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala.
The amount of the scholarship is Rs 10,000/- p.a.

2. Swami Vivekananda Utkrisht Charttarvriti Yojana

The scholarship is for meritorious students of the General category declared as such in the result of the Matric Examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala.
The amount of the scholarship is Rs 10,000/- p.a.

3. Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Charttarvriti Yojana

The Scholarship is given to the top 100 Girls and top 100 Boys students belonging to the Tribal Community of HP, declared as such in the result of the Matric Examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala.
The amount of the scholarship is Rs 11,000/- p.a.

4. Indira Ghandi Utkrisht Charttarvriti Yojana for Post Plus Two Students

Awarded to the Ten Male Toppers each from the merit list of 10+2 Arts, Science and Commerce, supplied by the H.P. Board of School Education Dharamshala, and to the Ten Toppers (both Male & Female) from the merit lists of B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com., supplied by the HPU, Shimla
The amount of the scholarship is Rs 11,000/- p.a.

5. Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojna

For the top 2000 meritorious female students of 10+2, the merit list was supplied by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala.
The amount of the scholarship is Rs 15,000/- p.a.

6. Maharishi Balmiki Chhatravriti Yojna

For BonafideHimachaliGirl Students belonging to Balmiki Families.
The amount of the scholarship is Rs 9,000/- p.a.

7. IRDP Scholarship Scheme

Students belonging to IRDP families and studying in 9th to University.

College/University (i) Day Scholar Rs 1200/- p.a. Rs 1200/- p.a.
(ii) Hostelers Rs 2400/- p.a. Rs 2400/- p.a.

8. National Scheme of Incentives to Girls for Secondary Education

The centrally sponsored scheme is for SC/ST girl students. Girls under this scheme should not have completed sixteen years of age as of 31st March of the year Amount of the scholarship is Rs 3,000/- and will be given in the shape of a Time Deposit.

9. Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students

For SC Students, whose parents/guardians' annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 2,00,000/-. The scholarship will be awarded for only 10 months.

10. Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students

For ST Students, whose parents/guardians' annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 2,00,000/-. The scholarship will be awarded for only 10 months.

11. Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC Students

Scholarship will be given to students of Class 1st to 10th class whose parents/guardians annual income does not exceed to Rs 44,500/-.

12. Dr. Ambedkar Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Economically Backward Classes Students

All students belonging to the General Category (Other than Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes) whose total income from all sources case of the employed candidate and in case of unemployed candidate, his/her parents/guardians income shall not exceed Rs 1,00,000/-, p.a. are eligible for full scholarship.

13. Scholarship for Disabled Students (CSS)

(a) “Scholarship Scheme (Trust Fund)”:

Provided to eligible differently-abled students. The monthly income of the beneficiary/parent/guardian should not be more than Rs 25,000/- (Rs 3.00 Lac p.a.) from all sources.

14. Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Students Belonging to Minority Community (CSS)

For students belonging to the Minority Groups (Muslim - 309, Sikh - 187, Christian - 20, Buddhist - 196, Jain - 4, Parsi - 2, Total = 718 Students). The annual income of the parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs 2.00 Lacs, from all sources and the student should not have less than 50% marks in the previous final examination.

15. Financial Assistance to the Children of the Armed Forces Personnel Killed/Disabled during the Different Wars/Operations

Children of Armed Forces Personnel killed / disabled in the different wars /operations are eligible for this assistance.
